The Oklahoma Agricultural Aviation Association (OAAA) traces its roots to informal meetings in the 1950s, with formal organization around 1960 and records beginning in 1977. Over the decades, the association evolved through leadership changes, legislative advocacy, technological advancements, and responses to regulatory and public concerns, such as pesticide laws and national security events. The OAAA has continually adapted through the years to continue to provide exceptional services to producers within the state of Oklahoma and surrounding states. The association remains active in supporting aerial applicators and engaging with legislators.
The Oklahoma Agricultural Aviation Association (OAAA) serves as a professional organization dedicated to supporting individuals in the agricultural aviation industry. Its mission centers on promoting safety, minimizing drift, and offering opportunities for professional growth and networking among its members.
